Breathing is one of those things that we probably take a bit for granted. It happens automatically and, for the most part, it doesn’t really take any conscious effort. We just go about our days, breathing away. We’ve got plenty of other things to worry about. But how we breathe actually has huge impacts on not only our health, but our mindset and quality of life as well. So, do you know how to breathe? I mean, really know how to breathe? If you don’t, it’s okay. You’re not alone. We are a society of chest-breathers, mouth-breathers, fast-breathers, and non-breathers. (Yes, non-breathers. Ever been in a stressful situation and held your breath? Or as you were working out? Or while waiting in anticipation to hear someone’s response? In those moments, you were a non-breather!) We tend to pick up these bad habits over time from how we live our lives these days. When we are all just walking balls of stress, our breath reflects that. When we are primarily sedentary throughout the day, our breath reflects that. Because of all this, we’ve adopted breathing habits that are certainly less than ideal, causing more underlying issues than we realize. But it’s not too late to change how you breathe and reap the benefits!   Just by getting in the habit of breathing properly, we can heal ourselves from the inside out. Best of all, it’s free and you can do it anywhere and everywhere! In today’s video, I share some of its benefits (which are seriously astonishing) as well as how to really breathe correctly. Just because you’re already a living, breathing being doesn’t mean you should skip today’s video. As crazy as it sounds, learning the tricks to proper breathing may actually change your life.
